Our last scheduled meeting will be this Wed July 11 at Applebee's all are welcome to attend. Only a few weeks left and response to rsvp has picked up somewhat. Out of the 229 classmates listed on this site, we were able to locate addresses and send invitations to 171, which is roughly 75%. A big thanks to all those who helped retrieve all those names and addresses. Having this information in a data base now should make our next reunion much easier. Check back here during the next two weeks for any last minute updates on plans etc. 

June 6, 2001

Our meeting this week was at Applebee's at 6:30. Attendance was great and plans are really starting to come together. By this Friday all invitations have been mailed for the classmates that have been located. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE. If you are planning to attend all or a portion of the reunion weekend activities we need you to confirm your attendance with your payment.  A number of expenses have already been incurred trying to secure reunion activities.....your funds are needed ASAP.

Another note: The memorial page is near completion and should be up in a few days.

May 23, 2001

This Wed.'s meeting was again productive. Several more classmates were located and have had invitations mailed to them. At this point we have probably located the majority of the Class of 81' that will be found. The committee will now focus the remaining time on final plans for the Reunion weekend activities. One very important note: Confirmation of your attendance is by receipt of payment only, so please send those in as soon as physically possible! Also note that the classmates section of this site indicates whether or not you payment has been received.

Next scheduled meeting is again at Buffalo's 6:30 May 23. All of the invitations should be mailed by now so be on the lookout for yours. Only 2  1/2 months remain before our reunion takes place and there is still a lot of work to be done, so anyone interested in helping please speak up.....quickly.

April 19, 2001

Next scheduled reunion committee meeting is set for 6:00 @ Buffalo's in Dublin.  

The following schedule is tentative as mentioned and subject to change in the weeks to follow.

March 22, 2001

Our first official reunion committee meeting was held at Applebee's in Dublin. The main emphasis was to establish a preliminary schedule of events for the reunion weekend and also to make duty assignments to each committee member present.  

Also discussed was the possibility of having the Sat. night social professionally video taped along with a group photo w/ copies being made available to all attendees. Cost for this service has not yet been determined. Comments about whether a special souvenir tee shirt or other item would be of any value are welcome.
